Per Florida Statute 316.2122, our LSVs may be operated on paved public roads with posted speed limits of 35 mph or less. Cocoa Beach offers many excellent options for safe LSV cruising, including quiet residential streets, side roads parallel to A1A, and neighborhoods near the beach and Cocoa Beach Pier (such as streets around Minuteman Causeway, 4th Street to 16th Street areas, and residential zones west of A1A).
- Cross higher-speed roads (like A1A) only at designated intersections when permitted and safe.
- Always obey all signs, traffic laws, and local ordinances — no sidewalks, bike paths, or private property without permission.
- Check for any temporary restrictions via the City of Cocoa Beach website or current signage.
