All Space Coast Cart Rentals Low Speed Vehicles (LSVs) are 100% electric.  They are clean, quiet and fun to drive!

How far can the golf cart travel once fully charge?

-Our standard 4 passenger non lifted battery golf cart LSVs can generally travel between 10 – 20 miles once they are fully charged.
– Our lithium battery powered golf cart LSVs ( 4 passenger lifted, 6 passenger carts, and 8 passenger carts) can generally travel about 20 – 30 miles once they are fully charged.

How can I tell how much battery life is remaining?

All our golf cart LSVs have a battery charge level indicator that shows roughly how much battery life is left, although this is only a guide and should not be taken literally. This is why we recommend not letting it fall below 25-30 % because then it starts to die fast.

How and when do I charge the golf cart?

– The golf cart LSV has an onboard charger and comes with a cord so you can plug it into a standard household 3-prong electrical outlet. Check with vacation property if there is a place to plug cart into. An extension cord is available upon request before delivery.
– It’s always best practice to charge the golf cart LSV when it’s not being used, to keep the batteries topped off and ready to go!
– The golf cart LSV will need to be plugged in each night and allowed to charge overnight so that it’s ready to go for your rides the next day.
– We recommend trying to keep the batteries above 50% charge level.

– The golf cart LSV batteries should never be drained to below 30% charge level, as this can cause damage to the batteries.

Can I drive the cart until the batteries are completely dead?

No.  Driving the golf cart LSV until the batteries are completely dead will not only cause you to be stranded somewhere, it can also cause severe damage to the battery pack, sometimes to the point of needing a full battery pack replacement, which is an expensive repair.
– The golf cart LSV should be plugged in whenever it’s not in use, to keep the batteries charged and ready to go.
– We recommend trying to keep the batteries above 50% charge level at all times.
– The golf cart LSV batteries should never be drained to below 30% charge level, as this can cause damage to the batteries.

What if the battery dies while out?

-The golf carts have automatic parking brake. So, if completely dead the cart will need to be plugged in to a nearby outlet with an extension cord to give it enough charge. Once it has enough juice if you lift up the back seat you can flip switch into tow mode and push cart. Do not try to tow cart if the brakes are locked this will damage the cart. If not able to charge cart you will need to either contact the store at 321-477-3080 or a tow company. The customer is responsible for $25 fee if SCCR personnel must come out and tow fee if one is called.
